When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comments form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser text, to aid spam detection.

An anonymized text (also called hash) generated from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using the service. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to everyone, along with your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don't have to fill in your information again when you leave another comment. These cookies stay for one year.

If you visit our homepage, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will save a few cookies to save your login information and screen view selection. Login cookies stay for two days and screen options cookies stay for one year. If you choose "Remember me", it will take you two weeks to log in. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and only shows the post ID of the article you are editing. It expires after 1 day.

If you have a registration or account on this site via facebook, instagram, google form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of all personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we have to comply with for administrative, legal or security purposes.
